WELCOME.
Hello! We’re the Bouldin family who took a risk in October of 2020 and bought an abandoned home at auction. Our home was empty for 10+ years and gutted when we bought it. There were no working mechanical systems, floors, kitchen, or utilities. We started to share our journey on TikTik and had a video go viral and today we have built a following of over 3+ Million people across our social media accounts. Our goal is to share the real home renovation process, including the ugly parts you don’t always see on TV along with a little humor.

The Forge House - Built in 1830
The Forge House was originally built to house the workers and Iron Master at the Swatara Furnace. At one point there were 14 unrelated people living inside the home. The House has many names. “The Ironmaster’s Mansion”, “The Forge House”, or “Big House” to name a few. The big house was the center of operations for the Swatara Furnace. In 1889 the Boyer family purchased the home and thousands of surrounding acres. The Boyer family spent their summers at the Forge House for many years and stopped using the house for their vacations and rented it to other families in 1920. After the passing of Mr. and Mrs. Boyer in 1984 the estate was turned into a Bed and Breakfast by one of Boyer daughters in 1989. The home was bought at auction by the Bouldins in October of 2020 and have been renovating this once abandoned estate into their forever home.
